ReplyDeletea few years ago one of my barber customers said he just didn't get computers. After he reads his email and looks at used pickups he has nowhere else to go. I have a tendency to rush through door after door, and often wonder, is that all there is?
ReplyDeleteMe too. The internet is a wonderful thing but for deep insight I think we still need books - both books that we read and books that we write.

DeleteWhenever I see the Raven I always think of Edgar Allan Poe's poem, THE RAVEN. Nevermore, nevermore. Long and tedious, it is always worth a re-read.

Just looked that up. It is long but I like it. I imagine hearing it recited time would pass in an instant.
